German-based Karmann, veterans of many DaimlerChrysler projects, designed Crossfire Roadster’s roof structure. Using fully visible cast-aluminum components to maintain premium-level safety standards and weight savings, Karmann developed a soft-top structure as rich in visual appeal as it is flawless in operation. Karmann’s acute grasp of Crossfire’s requirements allowed them to deliver this design request in just 27 hard-working months.
Crossfire's cosmopolitan gleam draws second glances everywhere from the Autobahn to Highway One. Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 delivers sizzling performance that pays off every promise those looks make. Turning the key brings to life a supercharged 334 Hp (DIN) 3.2 18-valve SOHC V6 engine that's capable of going from 0 to 100 km/h in under five seconds.
